I am a breast cancer survivor.
While the disease does not define me, it has changed my life in so many ways. Before my diagnosis I was a student of photography chasing my dream of working as a nature and wildlife photographer. Today, carrying all that gear and crawling around the wilds is near impossible for me so I have put down the camera until I can find a solution. Until then I have picked up a pen to start writing again.

Disclaimer:
I am not a nurse or a doctor and I am not handing out medical advice. I am simply writing about my own experience
and research in the hopes it might make a few women feel less alone on their
journey.
